The 2018 PA Firefly Festival is in the books. It was a wet but wonderful event. The weather cleared and the attendance counter reached 550! So many people helped make it a success. This blog will keep you informed about the plans for the annual PA Firefly Festival and the Firefly Seasonal Events. The PAFF festival and sponsored events celebrate and monitor the annual mating displays of over fifteen different species of fireflies in the Allegheny National Forest area including the Synchronous Firefly and the "Chinese Lantern" species.
