This blog will keep you informed about the plans for the annual PA Firefly Festival and the Firefly Seasonal Events. The PAFF festival and sponsored events celebrate and monitor the annual mating displays of over fifteen different species of fireflies in the Allegheny National Forest area including the Synchronous Firefly and the "Chinese Lantern" species.

Planning is Underway!
Our first planning meeting for the 4th Annual PA Firefly Festival will be Sunday, February 7, 2016 at the Black Caddis Ranch B&B at 1:00 pm. Anyone is welcome to attend. We will be discussing committees that include grants, fundraising, advertising, exhibits, entertainment, vendors, merchandise and education.
